Spectrofuge provides calibration and validation services for a variety of equipment using NIST traceable standards. Spectrofuge's technicians follow GMP/GLP standard operating procedures as well as procedures specific to regulating agencies. Spectrofuge will also provide written technical data stating that the equipment is functioning properly and within the needed guidelines of individual facilities.
Relocation of Laboratory Equipment
Spectrofuge provides relocation services to laboratories moving to new locations, whether across the city or to an adjoining lab. Service technicians will prepare your equipment for the move, stabilizing crucial parts of the equipment. Spectrofuge has the resources to move sensitive equipment like HPLC components and scintillation counters to avoid equipment down-time. Spectrofuge maintains a current and valid NC Radiation Safety License for removal and storage of radioactive sources. Spectrofuge will reinstall your equipment once the move is complete to assure proper functioning at manufacturer's specifications.
Vacuum Pump Service and Sales
Spectrofuge provides repair, refurbishment and preventive maintenance of laboratory vacuum pumps. Upon submission of the Product Safety Disclosure Agreement, Spectrofuge will pick up your pump, transport it to our in-house facility for service and return the pump in a timely manner. Spectrofuge also buys and refurbishes vacuum pumps for sale, as our customers regularly have needs for back-up and replacement pumps.

Mail-in Equipment Depot
Spectrofuge offers mail-in depot service of many types of laboratory equipment, including but not limited to HPLC pumps and controllers, tabletop centrifuges, and spectrophotometers. Companies from across the country can ship their equipment for service. Spectrofuge technicians will inspect the equipment for a minimal diagnostic fee and provide a repair estimate based on the inspection. Upon approval of the estimate, technicians will repair the equipment and return it the facility in a timely manner.
Consulting/In-service Training
Spectrofuge offers consulting and in-service training for a variety of laboratory issues from rotor safety to HPLC application advice. Spectrofuge technicians can schedule the lab visits at convenient times to users in order that all lab personnel can take advantage of the this service.
